Course Overview :

The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning course prepares students to respond to a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies for adults, children, and infants. This course is ideal for those seeking certification that meets OSHA workplace or other regulatory standards. It is delivered in a blended learning format (online 1-3 hours + 2hr 15 mins classroom), with an online portion (accessible via mobile, desktop, or tablet) which  must be completed before attending the instructor-led skills session. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a valid 2-year digital certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED.

Course Format

  • Blended Learning: Combines online training with an in-person skills session. (online + classroom)
  • Online Training: Complete before attending the in-person session. Allow  approximately 1 - 3 hours for this part and start at least 48 hours prior to the in-person session.
  • In-Person Training: Hands-on skills training must be completed within 90 days of the online training.

Certification

  • Valid: 2 years
  • Certificate: Digital, issued upon successful completion

Registration Requirements

  • Proof of Online Completion: Required to attend the in-person training.  Please bring printed out completion or have digital proof.
  • Email: Each registrant must provide a unique email address for course-related information. Can’t use the same email address
  • Comfortable Clothing: Dress comfortably as skills are performed on the floor. If you have medical restrictions, please contact the office in advance.

  • Children: No children allowed, except for nursing infants.

  • Processor: Dual-core, 2.3 GHz or faster
  • RAM: 4 GB
  • Operating System:
    • Desktop: Windows 7/8/10, OS X Snow Leopard 10.6+
    • Tablet: iPad iOS 7+, Android 4.0.3+
  • Browsers: Chrome 49+, Firefox 47+, Safari 9+
  • Screen Resolution: 1024x768, High Color (32Bit)
  • Bandwidth: 2.0 mbps dedicated or faster (Broadband recommended)
  • Audio: Soundcard and speakers or headphones required
